ITINERARY

Day 1: Hanoi arrival – City Tour/The Past in the Present
Today highlights: Cyclo ride around Hoan Kiem lake and Old Quarter / Dong Xuan Market 

In the morning
• On your arrival in Hanoi airport, you will be warmly welcomed by our guide and driver then transferred to your hotel in Hanoi
• You will visit a local restaurant for lunch
In the afternoon
• After saving energy with local lunch, you will be transferred to the Old Quarter and visit the Hoan Kiem Lake, also known as “Sword Lake”, which is famous for its peaceful beauty, its cultural as well as historical values.
• Finally, you will sit in front of Cyclo to move around the Old Quarter and experience the local life in 45 minutes
• The next destination is Dong Xuan Market whose main gate is located on Dong Xuan Street. The market was established at the beginning of 20th Century and now being the biggest wholesale market in Hanoi.
• Tour ends, you will be transfered back to your hotel and have your own free time.

Overnight in Hanoi

Day 2: Hanoi – Halong /A Night on a Peaceful Bay
Today highlights: Tuan Chau / Ha Long / Lan Ha Bay / Ao Ech  

In the morning
• At 08:00 – 08:30, the shuttle bus will pick you up and transfer you to Halong Bay, which takes you around 2.5 hours through small villages with beautiful fields of rice and vegetable.
• Arriving in the habour, board the cruise and have lunch at harmony of the Sea Restaurant. As the cruise departs towards Lan Ha Bay, absorb yourself in the beautiful scenery with amazing limestone surroundings.
In the afternoon
• 15:15 – 17:00: Cruise anchors at Frog Lagoon area for outdoor activities. Access to Capella’s high-grade entertainment facilities: Infinity Oasis Pool and Jacuzzi; Inflatable Water Slide; Kayak; SUP, Mini-golf etc.
• 17:30 pm: Enjoy freshly prepared snacks and your favorite drinks while waiting for sunset on Lan Ha Bay. Take advantage of the Happy hours “Buy 1 get 1 free” drink program at the Spirit of the Sea Lounge and the Ocean Sky Sundeck.
In the evening
• 18:00 – 18:45: Cooking demonstration of traditional Vietnamese dish
• 19:00 - 20:30: Dinner will be served at Harmony of the Sea Restaurant
• 20:30 pm: Enjoy Capella’s onboard recreations: the Cigar & Poker room; Board Games, chill at Spirit of the Sea Lounge, Night Squid Fishing, etc. We spend a peaceful night onboard the Capella Cruise.

Day 3: Halong – Hanoi/The Flavors of the Bay
Today highlights: Dark & Bright Cave / Lan Ha Bay / Tuan Chau Island  
In the morning
• 06:00 – 06:15: Start your day with Tai Chi exercises or a photo hunt.
• 06:15 – 06:45: Enjoy breakfast in the fresh air and peaceful beauty of the Bay.
• 06:45 – 08:30: Visit the Dark & Bright cave by traditional rowing bamboo boats. Cruising to Bright Cave, you will see an angled passageway opening the cave at water level and a serene round lake surrounded by lush trees and precipitous stone cliffs.
• 09:00 – 09:30: Pack your luggage and check out of the cabin while cruising towards the harbor
• 9:30 – 10:30: You have lunch in the restaurant of the cruise.
In the afternoon
• 10:30: Disembark the cruise
• 12:30: You will be transfer back to your hotel and in Hanoi and it will be a 3.5 hour journey again

Day 4: Hanoi Departure
Depending on your flight time, our driver will pick you up at your hotel and transfer you to the airport for your departure flight.
