This Hoang Su Phi tour will offer you the most beautiful terraced rice fields in Vietnam. You’ll have a chance to go through lush green tea plantations of Red Dao. DAY 1: PANHOU RETREAT ARRIVAL
Our guide and driver will meet you at your hotel lobby in the early morning, you are arriving at Panhou Retreat in the early afternoon. Our eco-lodge is located in the heart of the Song Chay mountains adjoining the Yunnan with natural fortress. This place has long been a refuge for many ethnic groups who have escaped from the Middle Kingdom, his persecution and its famines. You will be free on your own to rest before the morning trekking in the next day.

Overnight in Panhou Retreat.
DAY 2: PANHOU – HO PIEN
After breakfast, you will be meeting our tour guide and start taking the direction of Nam Nghi, a Red Yaos village famous for its production of the Shan Tuyet tea, harvested from trees. From the village, you can see the rice terraces extend out of sight, located halfway up the mountain. You will also get to see the daily life of Red Yao which is punctuated by their farming spots in the highlands and rice. Red Dao women wear bright red outfits with some indigo keys. After lunch you continue to ascend the mountain through the tea plantations. Then, you will arrive in the late afternoon to a Hmong family house where you will have dinner and will relax in the evening and at night.

ITINERARY

DAY 3: HO PIEN – LANG GIANG
After breakfast, you can enjoy the calm of this morning in the high mountains and the friendliness of the family around the fireplace. Continue your walk through the bamboo forests, rice terraces to Yen Son valley where also live red Yao. One of the local families in the village will welcome you for lunch. Then you will leave and follow along the river to reach Lang Giang Village in mid-afternoon. Check in Panhou village and free on your own afterwards.

DAY 4: PANHOU RETREAT – HANOI
You will spend your own free time in the morning before departing for Hanoi at around 10:30 a.m
  • The accommodation in twin/double basis with breakfast (central location, highly recommended on Trip Advisor)
  • Local experienced English speaking local guide 
  • All entrance fee and sightseeing tickets as listed 
  • Local dishes with hygiene (others are upon your request)
